Bomb explodes at Governor's road

Imphal, June 26 2015 :
A bomb was exploded just behind the high-security Raj Bhaan here, wounding one person on Friday morning.
Sources said the blast was taken place around 5 am on the staircase of the second and third floor of a private building at the Governor's Road, Paona bazaar.
The wounded has been identified as Ph Ibungo (21), son of Ph Subhas of Yourbung under Lamlai Police Station.
He is a driver of a private drinking water tanker.
He is out of danger now.
The doors, windows and other items inside the building were damaged in the blast.
A team of State Police rushed to the site to take stock of the situation.
However, no arrest was made and investigation has started.
Later, a large number of women staged a sit-in-protest condemning the incident.
The protestors demanded that the organisation clarify the blast at the earliest.
