Apology from MYFSEA and IMF demanded

Students' bodies of Chandel District demand unconditional apologies from Meitei Youth Front South East Asia (MYFSEA) and International Meitei Forum (IMF) and to withdraw their statement.
In a joint press statement issued by Maring Students Union, Anal Students' Union, Aimol Students' Union Manipur, Thadou Students' Association Chandel and Naga Students' Union Chandel demanded unconditional apologies from Meitei Youth Front South East Asia (MYFSEA) and International Meitei Forum (IMF) besides demanding to withdraw their statement.
The students' bodies stated that the statement of the two Meitei organizations alleging the tribal of the state as "foreigners" which was published in some daily evening newspapers was unfortunate.
The statement is hurting the sentiments of the Tribals and it will hamper the efforts of many valley based civil organizations advocating peace and unity for peaceful co-existence in the state, the statement said.
How come any responsible CSO or individuals of valley settled Meitei brethrens consider the Tribals of the state who have been living with them since time immemorial as Foreigners, questioned the students' bodies.
Meanwhile, in the Joint Press Statement, the students' bodies also extend support to the ongoing economic blockade of the All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) .
