Veterinary Minister K Govindas has instructed officials concerned of his department to take up necessary action against officers who failed to submit proper report on implementation of RKVY.
Govindas today along with IFCD Minister Ngam-thang Haokip and MLA Nemcha Kipgen and officials of Vety Dept visited Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital at Kangpokpi and regional Cross-Bred Cattle Centre at Toribari.
Upon reaching there, the Ministerial team found out that the Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital was using only a small room of its building while the other rooms were found occupied by some people who settle there.
Moreover, many Breeding rooms for cattles near the hospital which were constructed in 1996 are also found in dilapidated condition due to lack of proper care and utilisation.
The team later went to the Regional Cross Breed Cattle Centre at Toribari only to find it deserted without any cattle.
