Imphal, July 10 2019:
Kangleipak Students' Association has urged the authority concerned to take up necessary measures to fill the vacant teachers posts and look into the lack of infrastructure facilities at Lamlai Higher Secondary School at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons during a press meet at its office at Khoyathong Pukhri Achouba Mapal today, publicity secretary of KSA, H Babulu said that the volunteers of KSA learnt about the poor condition of the school while conducting an inspection tour.
Though Lamlai High School was upgraded to Higher Secondary in 2016 and began its academic session in 2018, the teachers of the school are yet to be assigned, Babulu lamented.
While pointing out that there are 50 students in Class XII (both Arts and Science) and admission process to class XI in the school is in process, Babulu said there is no sufficient classroom and teachers to conduct proper classes.
