Social service camp conducted

Kakching, August 10 2021:
Lamding Elangbam Leikai Task Force in association with Social and Cultural Association organised a 4 days Social Service Camp at Lamding Elangbam Leikai today.
Khangabok AC MLA, O Surjakumar and Sangaiyumpham Zilla Parishad member, Md Hibjur Rahaman planted tree saplings to mark the inauguration of the social service camp.
Speaking on the occasion, O Surjakumar lauded all those involved in organising the camp for carrying out the' social service camp especially during this crucial times of COVID-19 pandemic.
The local MLA highlighted the importance of cleanliness and urged the people to cultivate the habit of planting trees.
O Surjakumar further expressed his concern over the lack of fertilizers for the farmers and appealed to the State Government to look into the matter at the earliest.
Similarly, members of Kakching Khunnai Chaokhat-Hanba Lup (KKCL), All Kakching Students' Union (AKSU), Friendship Sporting Club (FSC) with the assistance of KMC carried out social service in the area around CCC, Kakching Higher secondary School and along Indo-Burma Sugnu road.
Speaking on the occasion, KKCL publicity & public relations secretary, Gujaral Mayanglambam expressed his appreciation to all the organisations and individuals who had supported KKCL in its initiative towards clean Kakching.
