CAU's student selected for course in Israel

Imphal, May 11 2022:
CN Nidhi, PhD (Entomology), a student of the College of Agriculture (CoA), Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal has been selected for 'Sustainable Agricultural Solutions International Summer course' from July 3-28, 2022 organised by the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research at Sede Boker campus in Israel.
As per a press release by CAU, the course is built with the integrated academic perspective of improving food and water use worldwide in face of global climate change and the course is composed of three tracks-soil and irrigation, plants under abiotic stress and aquaculture.
A total of 73 individuals across the world applied for the course, out of which 24 have been selected based on excellence in academic performance, achievements and main intent to pursue the course.
Nidhi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Dr Anupam Mishra, Dean of CoA, Imphal, Professor Indira Sarangthem, Head of Department of Entomology, Dr Kh Ibohal Singh, her PhD guide Dr Shravan M Haldhar and all the teachers of CAU, Imphal for their constant support, encouragement and guidance, added the release.
