Senapati police organises anti-drug campaign

Senapati, May 11 2022:
In collaboration with Mount Everest College Student Extension Committee, the Anti-Narcotic Cell of Senapati Police Station organised a drug awareness campaign at the multi-purpose hall of the College on Wednesday.
Speaking as resource person, Mao SDPO H Timothy informed that the programme was launched by the present BJP-led coalition government under the supervision of CM N Biren Singh as part of its "War on Drugs" mission.
The campaign aims to provide information about the dangers of drugs usage among the young students and general populace, he added.
While urging the students to join and combat misinformation by sharing the real facts about drugs and its impact on socio-economy and health, he exhorted all to stay away from any kind of drugs.
Senapati PS OC Women police Karaila explained about the negative effects of drugs in the family.
Around 500 people including teaching staff and students of the college attended the programme.
