It has 2 Science Graduate teacher and no teachers for English and Home Science, they said.
The school which has a total of 670 students was upgraded higher secondary level from high school in 2016 .
"The school is failing due to lack of teachers and students will have no future here if things continued like this.
We have no other choice but to surrender our textbooks to the Education Minister and show our grievances," said a student.
Stating that the school also lacks necessary Science equipment, a student said that Science practicals are not done yet.
Reminding the various missions of the Government to lift schools and develop rural and hill areas, the students urged the Education Minister to address their grievances before they surrender textbooks.
Meanwhile, Meira Paibis, DESAM volunteers, guardians and students of Wangoo Laipham Upper Primary School staged sit-in at the campus today demanding adequate teachers and improvement of the school infrastructures.
The school under Sugnu AC in Kakching district has over 200 students (Class I-VIII).
The school has only three teachers.
Additional 10 teachers and a chawkidar engaged by a local women organisation -"Ningolbi" are helping the Government teachers run the school, said locals.
The school lacks proper toilets, fencing among others, they said.
As the 4 classrooms could not accommodate the students, an additional room/school building was constructed by the women organisation and School Management Committee, said Amarjit, convenor of the committee.
Even as the locals are trying their best to run the school in order to save future of the students, the school can not run successfully without the assistance of the Government and Education Department, he said.
The sit-in urged the Government to fulfil their demands at the earliest.
