Buddhists condemns blasts at Bodh Gaya

Buddhist Council, Manipur has condemned the serial bomb blasts at holy Mahabodhi temple, Bodh Gaya, Bihar on Monday.
Presided by Salam Bharatbushan, President of the Council, a condolence meeting was held at Uripok office of Buddhist Council Manipur here today and also strongly condemned the attack at the holy place where Gautama Buddha obtained enlightenment (Bodhimandala) 2600 years ago, N Manikanta Singh, General Secretary of Buddhist Council informed in a statement.
Time would automatically reveal the facts about the blast at the sacred pilgrimage, which is being adorned in the heart of the people across the globe, who adopt Buddhism.
Believers of the religion should not resort to violence and it is their defeats that enable us to bring us into hostility, Manikanta said.
