UNC bandh affects normal life in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, June 18 2012:
The 48 hours total bandh imposed by United Naga Council demanding 'Alternative Arrangement' for the Nagas severely affected normal day-to-day life of the people residing in Tamenglong District.
However, there is no report of any untoward incident happening during the course of the bandh so far.
Apart from closure of shops, markets, institutions, government offices, the local people in town area are not allow to pass on the roads.
Movement of vehicular traffic was also restricted during the bandh which is being supported by All Naga Students' Association, Manipur.

The bandh supporters put banner along the road demanding to expedite 'alternative arrangement' for Nagas in Manipur.
The 48 hours total bandh would end on 18 Midnight.
