30 re-admitted after discharge

Around 30 persons of Lilong Chingjao, Ushoipokpi and Nungei have been re-admitted to Lilong PHC after they have been discharged from RIMS hospital today.
It is said that these persons started showing symptoms of diarrhea again after they reached home from RIMS hospital.
According an information received from the PHC, these patients are provided treatment in the medical facility.
Meanwhile, BJP Manipur Pradesh secretary (administration) M Ashnikumar and BJYM president O Malesh and vice-president Dr Antaz Khan visited the patients at Lilong PHC.
Ashnikumar said that no visible step has been taken up so far although Government spokesperson and Education Minister M Okendro has assured to provide free treatment to the affected people.
Alleging that the Government does not understand its responsibility while dealing with the outbreak, Ashnikumar demanded immediate Government attention to the issue.
He also said that Ministers and officials concerned must visit the patients and look into their needs at the earliest.
Foundation of Youth Development Organisation, Lilong general secretary Md Wahazuddin expressed dissatisfaction over discharging the patients by RIMS doctors although they were not fully recovered.
He also rejected the claim of Health Services Director Dr Ibomcha that the outbreak has been brought under control.
