The Flood Affected Victims Demand Committee, Chandel has demanded the Deputy Commissioner of Chandel to provide them with the details of the beneficiary victims that purportedly received immediate relief assistance from the State Government during and after the flood last year.
Chandel DC Robert Singh Kshetrimayum in a statement yesterday, had clarified that no relief fund for the flood victims was sanctioned other than a sum of Rs 1 crore that was utilised for providing ex-gratia and immediate relief assistance.
