CCpur, July 26 2018:
With normalcy returning in Churachandpur, the district Magistrate has late last night revoked the prohibitory order imposed in the wake of KSO's 24 hours total shutdown.
Consequent upon the return of normalcy and improvement of situation prevailing in town area, the prohibitory orders issued earlier shall stand withdrawn effectively from 12 am of July 26, said the order issued by District Magistrate, Shyam Lal Poonia.
Meanwhile, the Zomi Students Federation (ZSF) has slammed the district administration for deferring the meeting of ADC members which was scheduled yesterday by citing a mere law and order problem due to the total shutdown call by KSO.
"It is known to all and sundry that the total shutdown called by the KSO has nothing to do with the meeting of the ADC members summoned by the district administration.
The district administration could have made adequate and 'foolproof' security arrangement for smooth conduction of the meeting," it said.
The student body calls on the local administration to shun its "partisan" attitude and "positively" conduct the meeting on July 28 without fail.
