Imphal, May 30 2022: All 87 samples subjected to Covid-19 test during the last 24 hours turned out to be negative which means the cumulative number of positive cases remains unchanged at 1,37,236 (general population 1,32,222 and Central security personnel 5,014) .

This figure includes 1,35,110 recovered cases (general population 1,30,103 and Central security personnel 5,007) and six active cases, all civilians.

The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.

There is neither any report of Covid related death nor recovery or discharge of Covid-19 positive person during the last 24 hours.

Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.

The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 28,95,629 (first dose 15,69,285, second dose 12,29,847 and precautionary dose 96,497) .

Till Sunday, 61.87 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 52.18 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
