KB Enterprises inks MoU with Bangalore based firm

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed today between Bangalore based Interactive Institute of Job-Skills (IIJS) and Imphal based KB Enterprises in order to launch different job-oriented skill development programmes.
After signing the MoU at the Thangal Bazar office of KB Enterprises, IIJS managing director Chandrasekhar Yadav said that youth would be given training on IT, retail management, soft-skills, banking, financial services and insurance apart from carpentry, plumbing, electrification and other vocational courses.
Based on the types of courses or programmes, trainees would be given training free of cost or they would be charged certain fees.
In other word, free courses would be introduced under different schemes sponsored by the Government.
IIJS set up in 2010 has already secured accreditation from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and the National Small Industries Corporation.
Moreover, IIJS is a training partner of the National Skill Development Corporation.
A large number of youngsters have scripted success stories and they have joined different corporate houses after receiving training from IIJS, claimed Chandrasekhar.
KB Enterprises would provide class rooms, trainers and other requisite infrastructure for the training courses/programmes.
The courses/programmes would be in compliance with the industry related curriculum and the National Occupational Standards.
Details of individuals who have successfully completed training programmes would be sent to the Labour Management Information System of the National Skill Development Corporation, he added.
