Essential items distributed to families inside containment zones at various locations

Various organisations and committee distributed essential items to families affected inside containment zones today.
Kshetrimayum Martha, w/o of former Minister Kshetrimayum Biren Singh distributed essential items to 109 families inside containment zones.
The 109 families are from containment zones in Oksu, Yourabung, Heerok, Sanjenbam, Takhel, Lamlai, Yaingangpokpi, Seijang, Pungdombam, Sekta, Sawombung Thongkhong, Loushangkhong and Yourabung Khunou.
Kshetrimayum Martha also extended monetary assistance to 12 Local Covid Committee to aid in their fight against the second wave of the pandemic.
Avian House also distributed 'dressed chicken' to families inside containment zones in Heingang AC.
Chongtham Dhruvatara, proprietor, Avian House distributed the chicken to families in Nilakuthi, Awang Potshangbam Khunou, Loitang Khunou (Sekmai AC), Khongampat and Nongchup Kameng (Lamshang AC) .

Chongtham Dhruvatara said the distribution of chicken in containment zones with a view to provide essential dietary supplements to individuals in this trying times.
He added that he will continue extending help in ways and means in his capacity.
Northern Development Youth Club (NDYC) also distributed essential essential items to families inside containment zones in Pukhao Tarapur in Khundrakpam AC.
The essential items were provided by MLA TH Lokeshwar Singh through Khundrakpam Kendra Development Committee (KKDC).
NDYC expressed gratitude to MLA TH Lokeshwar and KKDC for providing the essential items.
Dr Ksh Kala Singh, vice president, Kisan Morcha and convenor Medical Cell BJP Manipur Pradesh distributed essential items to families affected in containment zones in Khundrakpam AC yesterday.
Essential items for 17 families in Pangei Bazar were handed over to PYYDA Club; essential items for 23 families from Tangkham Makha Leikai were handed over to COVID-19 Relief Committee and essential items for 13 families from Haraorou were handed over to YMC.
Dr Kala urged everyone to get vaccinated at the earliest and to maintain SOP.
He also appealed diabetes, hypertension and heart patients to take their medicines timely even if they are containment zones.
In another instance, social worker L Sanjoy also distributed essential items to 25 families inside containment zones in Angtha in Andro AC.
COVID-19 Task Force Ward No 9 Keishamthong AC also distributed essential items to containment zones in its area.
A COVID-19 awareness programme was also organised to educate the locals on the need of observing Covid appropriate SOP and vaccination.
