Wangjing-Tentha felicitates stars

Education Minister, M Oken has assured to work for the improvement of the education system within the next six months.
He was speaking at the felicitation programme for A Radhabinod Sharma and L Bandana, who made a cut in the combined civil service exam conducted by the UPSC; and various toppers in the HSLC and HSSLC exams organised by the Institute of Rural Education (IRE) at its Auditorium, Wangjing today.
Speaking as the chief guest, Minister M Oken said the law and order situation of the State has visibly improved when compared with the situation few years back.
Likewise, the Education department is working hard to fill the void in the department towards the improvement of the education system.
Anticipating to make the human resource a more refined one, he said he would raise a point in the Cabinet meeting over ways and means to provide assistance to toppers of HSLC and HSSLC exams.
Delivering a speech as the guest of honour, Khangabok AC MLA, O Landhoni lauded the 15 star performers of the State who made the state proud by scaling the UPSC exam this year.
MLA of Wangjing Tentha, Paonam Brojen also attended the felicitation function.
