Active cases drop to 3

Imphal, June 07 2022:
The total number of Covid-19 active cases has declined to three following recovery/discharge of two positive persons during the last 24 hours, according to a bulletin issued by Additional Director (Health) and Covid-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
Altogether 69 samples were tested during the last 24 hours and all of them turned out to be negative.
Moreover, there is neither any report of Covid related death even though the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,241 (general population 1,32,227 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes three active cases, all civilians and 1,35,118 recovered cases (general population 1,30,111 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,07,075 (first dose 15,72,722, second dose 12,35,687 and precautionary dose 98,666) .
Till Monday, 61.89 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 52.38 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
