SSA distributes school uniform to Sardar Hills ADC students

School uniform was distributed to students of Taphou Kuki UJB School under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi today at the school premises at Taphou Kuki village.
The school uniform was distributed under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan by Chongpu Kipgen, MCS, Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi in the presence of Lenkhomang Chongloi, MDC and Thangneikhai Vaiphei, Inspector of Schools, SHADC Kangpokpi including circle Assistant Inspector of Schools and Headmaster of the School.
The function was attended by local Church leaders, members of Taphou Kuki village authority, parents and guardians of the students and teachers.
Speaking at the occasion Lenkhomang Chongloi, MDC, who is also the chief of Taphou Kuki village, lauded the Chief Executive Officer and his staff for their efforts and initiative in successfully distributing uniform to students of Taphou UJB School.
Highlighting the various insufficiency of the school in its functioning, the local MDC also urged the department concerned to further initiate measures for better development and upliftment of the school.

Chongpu Kipgen while speaking at the occasion said that so far District Council Administration Sadar Hills has been doing well for grassroots level development of all the schools under its administration and will continued to do so.
It is very unfortunate that some village chiefs misunderstood the modality of District Council administration Sadar Hills in streamlining and channelizing the distribution of school uniform under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and the fine objective of the authority concerned so as to ensure satisfactory answer to all asserted the Chief Executive Officer.
The MCS officer in the meantime appreciated those chiefs, Headmasters and SMDCs who understand and follow the modality of District Council Administration, Sadar Hills in distributing school uniform before adding that District Council Administration, Sadar Hills will always do the right thing as well as streamline and channelize any implementation under its administration for the welfare of all but not for one individual.

While encouraging the students, the MCS Officer motivated them to learn with determination and faith before quoting some inspirational quotes from some well-known persons like "Be a student as long as you still have something to learn and this will mean all your life and whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it.

Begin it now" .
He also urged every parents and guardians to tender their best efforts towards their children in their learning with strong fortitude.
Thangneikhai Vaiphei, Inspector of Schools, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi said that Taphou Kuki UJB School is one of the best schools out of 183 schools under District Council Administration, Sadar Hills while adding that a free medical camp would be conducted soon in the school after finalizing the decision with the Chairman.
Headmaster of Taphou Kuki UJB School, Lhunthang Kipgen pointed out that Taphou Kuki UJB School being established in 1932 is one of the oldest schools under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council which is still waiting to be upgraded to a Junior High School.
He continued that there are more than 240 students enrolled in the current academic session which is much lesser than the previous year due to shortage of classrooms, teaching aide and mainly furniture.
"My main objective as a Government employee in the education sector and particularly as a Headmaster of this school is to educate children", said Lhunthang Kipgen before adding "being employed I work faithfully and sincerely which is also the same with my Christian ethics.
Mention may be made that this is the second time District Council Administration Sadar Hills distributed school uniform free of cost under SSA.
