Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme held

An Integrated1 Communication Outreach Programme (ICOP) on Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) was organised by Field Outreach Bureau, Chandel under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting yesterday at P Pantha 41/1 Chandel Polling Station which consist of Purum Pantha, Keithelmanbi and Chothe Khunou villages in Chandel district.
It was attended by SK Abising, VLO; Jevan Sankhil, chief of P Pantha; T Rengting, chief of Keithelmanbi; Sem Sankhil, pastor and Dearson Tontang, SVEEP Nodal Officer, Chandel as presidium members, said a release issued by FOB Chandel.
The programme began with a welcome address and presentation by Mathew SK Bengam FOB, Chandel.

Speaking on the occasion, Th Rengting thanked the concerned officials for conducting the awareness campaign on SVEEP.
He urged the gathering to use their franchise in the right and proper way.
Dearson Tontang enlightened the gathering on SVEEP and urged them to exercise their rights in the upcoming Assembly election.
He also elaborated on how to cast the vote on the EVM-VVPAT machine.
Jv Bongshot, ASHA worker, also spoke on the occasion.
Publicity material on SVEEP along with sanitizer, masks and caps were distributed.
Later, a quiz competition was conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by FPA, FOB, Chandel.
