Tusom CV holds fasting prayer for Khashim Vashum

Tusom Christian Village on Sunday organised a fasting prayer programme for 45-Chingai Assembly Constituency MLA Khashim Vashum seeking divine blessings to begin his election preparation for the forthcoming Manipur Assembly Election 2022.During the programme, village headman Rathing Zimik invoked blessing upon Khashim Vashum on behalf of the village in the presence of TNL president, vice president, ex-ADC members, headmen, Pastors, NPF party workers and villagers at Tusom CV ground.
Speaking on the occasion, Khashim Vashum expressed his appreciation to the people of Chingai AC for supporting and giving him the opportunity to represent them in the State Assembly.
K Vashum also presented Tangkhul traditional waist coats to all the attending headmen and chairmen.

While expressing his regret in accomplishing his vision for the constituency during his tenure as the MLA, Khashim Vashum assured that he will not compromise with tribal and Naga issues and continue to work for the welfare of the people.
He also highlighted some of his achievements including the electrification of all 52 villages in Chingai AC, blacktopping of inter-village roads, etc.
The MLA further assured that a water supply programme for Paoyi and Paorei would be implemented at the earliest.
NPF unit leader, Shimreingam stressed on the need to strengthen the NPF to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
A huge crowd including representatives of NPF Chingai and village headmen, chairmen from different villages under Chingai AC took part in the blessing ceremony.
The programme was jointly organised by Tusom CV and Tusom Church.
