RNYO lauds centre, state government

Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation (RNYO), Northeast India on behalf of all the Rongmei people, CSOs and state units extended gratitude to Central Government particularly Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda, Manipur CM N Biren Singh and Tribal Affairs and Hills Area Development minister Vungzagin Valte for laying the foundation stone of the Rani Gaidinliu Tribal Freedom Fighters' Museum at her birthplace in Luangkao village, Tamenglong district on November 22.A statement issued by RNYO president Kanpatlung Pamei informed that the long cherished dream and aspiration of the people has been fulfilled by declaring and laying the foundation stone of the museum.
The ideal of India's high humanism and national pride as the world largest democracy is depicted and manifested in the act of lifting and connecting the people to equal footing with the rest of the people of the country, which is possible and actualised under the dynamic world leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it said.
"Our gratitude and obligation are expressed in the highest tone and term to the present government for the historicalestablishment of the museum in the interest of the tribal people of the northeast region of India," it said.
