amphasana Girls' Higher Secondary School Students' Union has threatened to launch an agitation if police fail to arrest the killers of Sanabam Jeshina at the earliest.
The class-XII student of the school was found dead inside a locked room of a house at Singjamei Waikhom Leikai, where their family used to live earlier, in the afternoon of October 10.Drawing the attention of Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, who also holds the Home portfolio, the union expressed concern that no arrest has been made even after four days of Jeshina's alleged murder.
Some sections of the media had reported that Jeshina was seen talking with a man who sported a short hairdo, the union said in a press release.
The union expressed suspicion that somebody had murdered the young girl inside the room.
On the otherhand, the union said befitting punishment is yet to be given to William and Tarun who were allegedly involved in the rape of another student of the school some time back.
