CM Okram Ibobi talks tough with BJP; says BJP has done nothing for the state
during their two and half years government

Chief Minister Okram Ibobi today comes down heavily to BJP with slashing criticism saying that the party has done nothing for the state of Manipur even though it is in power at the center for around 2 and half years.
Talking as the Chief Guest of the 1st State Level Mahila Congress Campaign Committee Meeting of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, at Congress Bhavan, BT Road here in Imphal, Okram Ibobi said that the BJP only talks about development but never converted into action.
He said that most of the developmental works in the state has been put to stand still due to inaction of the BJP led government at the center.
The Congress Chief Minister also attack the BJP saying that even though the state government has cleared allotment of land for establishment of National Sports University nothing has been taken up for the establishment by the center.
The Congress leader also said that even the NIT which is already 5 years old, has not been taken into account and no fund for development of the Institution has been sanctioned till date.

On the frequent visit of Union Ministers in the state, Okram Ibobi said that the BJP Ministers comes and talk and return back without sanctioning any worthy project.
They only inject poison to the hormonal coexistence of the people of the state.
He further said that people in the state are no fools and every Manipuri knows that they only come and talk and then return back without taking up any developmental works for the state.
The Chief Minister who had ruled the state for three consecutive term said that the MPCC will highlight the various developmental works taken up during the period and will let people understand on what the government had done for the people.
He assured the return of the congress government.
The meeting of the state level Mahila Congress Campaign Committee was presided by the President of MPCC TN Haokip.
In his short speech TN Haokip called upon the fellow congress workers to face the challenges thrown by the BJP to oust out the congress.
Social Welfare Minister, AK Mirabai, MLA O Landhoni, MLA Nemcha Kipgen, General Secretary of AIMCC (i/c Manipur) Jarjum Ete , President of AIMCC, Sobha Oza, MLA K Ranjit, MLA Loken an MLA Victor Keishing attended the meeting as guest of honours.
