KCP-MC (Lanchen Chanu) group had claimed responsibility for placing the Chinese hand-grenade at the daily's office.
The meeting held at Manipur Press Club this afternoon also took serious note of the fact that the Government of Manipur has failed to provide a secure environment to media persons and media houses inspite of a delegation of editors calling on the Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh on December 8 and appealing for concrete measures to allay apprehension.
The meeting resolved to leave the editorial page blank in tomorrow's edition to protest the bomb threat besides deciding to boycott all information concerning the Government of Manipur is case security measures in and around media establishments are not initiated by January 3 .
