AIFF wants Langam Chaoba Devi as national team scout

Imphal, June 20 2022: All India Football Federation (AIFF) has asked Youth Affairs & Sports, Manipur's permission for engagement of Langam Chaoba Devi as a national team scout at the prestigious Hero Junior (U-17) Women's National Football Championship 2022.According to AIFF, Langam Chaoba will scout potential talent for the Indian national team camps in the category of U-17 age group, for which she will be required to attend he matches of the Junior Women's National Football Championship at respective venues in Guwahati and Dimakuchi, Assam, from June 22 to July 4 with her reporting date being scheduled for June 21, 2022 .

"Langam Chaoba Devi's extensive past experience as national team player, coach and scout will be of immense benefit for the programme.

The AIFF requests you to spare the services of Langam Chaoba Devi for the above mentioned dates", AIFF said in a letter addressed to the state YAS director on June 19 .
