Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial Futsal : Juvenile Club thrash MIUFC 4-1 for third win on trot

Imphal, October 25 2023: Juvenile Club (JC) posted a comfortable 4-1 win over Mayang Imphal United FC (MIUFC) for the third straight victory in the ongoing Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-24 .

JC led the first half with a slender 1-0 margin as Moirangthem Nelson found the net in the 19th minute before Shital Oinam doubled the advantage in the 24th minute.

MIUFC pulled back a goal through Laishram Rooney in the 32nd minute but Shital was at it again in the 38th minute to make it 3-1 before Maisnam Biken scored the decisive goal in the 39th minute.

Earlier in the day, ESU edged past Naoton Football Academy (NFA) 6-4 as Pm Imtiyas (1', 16') and Ninthoujam Sanathoi (15', 15') added two goals each.

M Pravin also scored one in the 40th minute for the winning side in this competitive game which saw NFA concede an own goal in the 10th minute as Thingbaijam Tomshi fumbled and netted into his own net.

For NFA, Laishram Boboy (10'), Paliba Laikhuram (13') and Thangjam Majaibungo (11', 28') were on target.

The last match of the day turned out to be a lop-sided encounter as Poloi FC trounced Balananda FA 7-0 courtesy a treble from Md Wajit (10', 14', 40').Md Nawaz Sharif (3'), Singamayum Sajaan Khan (5'), Takhelmayum Bikramjit (17') and Ahanthem Sonalish (19') also found a goal each to secure the huge victory.
