Winners' cup : XI Star SU enter semis

Imphal, November 10 2014: XI Star SU, Akampat entered the semi final of the ongoing 19th Winners' Cup organised by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) today.

In today's match played at SCL Churachandpur home ground at Public Ground Churachandpur, the Churachandpur players and the visiting team XI Star SU failed to break the deadlock and the match ended in a goalless draw.

XI Star SU however entered the semi final through an aggregate of 2-0 by virtue of winning the first leg against SCL, Churachandpur.

XI Star SU, Akampat will play FC Zalen in the first semi final at home ground of XI Star SU, Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak while LMFA, Heirok and YPHU, Lalambung will clash in the second semi final at LMFA home ground, Heirok Higher Secondary School Ground, Heirok.
