58th Mr Manipur Contest MPSC's K Arnold wins senior title, H Minaketan seals junior overall title

MPSC's Konthoujam Arnold has won senior men's title at the 58th Mr Manipur -2019 which was held yesterday at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Khuman Lampak while junior overall title went to ASK Kakching's Haobijam Minaketan as MPSC emerged overall team champions with a total 33 points.
KBB Gym, Tera finished team runners up with a total of 27 points in this State level body building contest hosted by All Manipur Body Builders Association.
MPSC's coach, YNilbir was also adjudged as best coach of the contest participated by 158 athletes from different units and gyms across Manipur.
Women's physique title went to Solimla Jajo of Royal Gymnasium, Ukhrul while women's body building title went to KBB Gym's Ingudam Kabita Chanu.
Thongam Satyakumar of The Gym Reborn on the other hand claimed the overall title for master category as he topped masters' 40-50 years category.
The second place title of the same category went to SBBF's Kangjam Dineshchandra while Salai Body Sculpture's Khaidem Washington finished third.
KBB Gym's Mutibur Rahaman won the 50-60 years category's top place title while NT Gym's Moirangthem Ranjit and Life Style Fitness Gym's Nameirakpam Ojit finished second and third.
Chandam Indra Singh of KBB Gym; X Fitness Gym's Laishram Modhu and HTA's Ngariyanbam Birmangol finished first, second and third respectively in the above 60 years category.
In the physically challenged category, Yumlembam Chinglen Singh of Gym 24 emerged on top as Royal Fitness Academy's N Jayenta and Vishnu Gym's A Nanao finished second and third.
In the men's physique competition, Laitonjam Gulsan of KBB Gym; Salai Body Sculpture's Y Gulip and Super Gym Khurai's L Sachidananda bagged first second and third place titles.
Junior Men's Body Building
United Gym's Hijam Telheiba; Royal Gym Ningomthong's Nameirakpam Naresh; Subol Fitness Gym's Kongbrailatpam Bidyamani Sharma bagged first places respectively in the junior category's 55 kg, 60 kg and 65 kg body building competitions while ASK's Minaketan won the 70 kg junior category title.
Iron Gym's Ksh Neeraj and Royal Gym Ningomthong's Nelson Nongmeikapam on the other hand won the junior men's 75 kg and above 75 kg titles respectively.
Best poser title of the junior category went to Royal Gym's Nelson Nongmeikapam.
In the 55 kg senior men's body building contest, PAMKHAL Gym's Akoijam Sanjoy won the top honour while L Neta of United Gym won the 60 kg title; Subol Fitness Gym's Mutum Sanjit won the 65 kg title.
Kangjam Dineshor of SBBF Gym finished first in the 70 kg class while Thongam Satyakumar of The Gym Reborn won the 75 kg title.
MPSC's Konthoujam Arnold on the other hand finished atop in the 85 kg before and KBB Gym's Laitonjam Rishikanta bagged the above 90 kg title.
