Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, August 26 2011:
Expressing serious concern over functioning of Moreh Government Higher Secondary School as the teachers could not come to Moreh to take classes on account of ongoing bandh along the Imphal-Moreh stretch of the National Highway 39, AMSU Chandel District Committee has appealed to all concerned to allow movement of the teachers in the interest of the affected students.
In a statement, president of AMSU Chandel District Committee K Mangju Meitei suggested that the ID cards of the teachers could be checked for giving free passage so that the academic career of the students is not affected.
