Imphal, June 20 2023: Meira paibi activists of Khangabok destroyed 150 litres of DIC liquor recovered from a Maruti Alto car heading towards Kakching from Andro on Tuesday.

Speaking to media persons, one Muhini informed that the liquor consignment was discovered during checking of vehicles as part of their vigil.

Meanwhile, Nisaband members of Luker, Haorang Keiren, Warok Sabal and Leitong area seized huge quantities of DIC liquor, which was being transported in a DI Tata from Maklang, at Haorang Thongkhong on Monday night.

The seized alcohol was set on fire and destroyed on the spot.
