Imphal, June 20 2023: People Protection Committee (PPC), Konthoujam along with RIMS Department of Transfusion Medicine jointly organised blood donation camp on the theme 'Katlasi Ee Ereibak ki damak' at RIMS blood bank on Tuesday.

In all, 30 people donated blood at the camp.

Speaking on the sidelines of the camp, Department of Transfusion Medicine HoD Dr Ra-jchandra informed that blood donated by a single person will help save lives of three.

A person who is above 18 years and below 65 years can donate blood four times a year and female donor thrice.

Moreover, blood donation controls BP, diabetes type 2 and cholesterol, he added.
