Imphal, December 22 2010:
The Workers' Union Manipur (WUM) has appealed to those persons who are responsible for holding the 27 workers from Wangoo as captives in Lamta village of Tamenglong district, to release workers on humanitarian grounds as they are marginal workers.
A press release of WUM today stated that they will launch agitations against the captors if the workers are not released soon.
