Thangmeiband United Club (TUC) has pledged to fully support the 15 hours bandh called by All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) on December 10 against Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB).
Speaking to media persons at Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak Youth Club today, TUC president Pratap Leishangthem said that if the Bill is passed in the Parliament, then the very existence of the indigenous people will be threatened.
Condemning the adamant attempt by the Centre to pass the Bill, Pratap appealed to one and all support the bandh as well.
However, media, medical emergencies, electricity and religiousceremonies will be exempted from the bandh, he announced.
