Taragi Cheishu to hold closed door seminar

Taragi Cheisu, a unified Meetei foundation has announced that it will organise a closed-door seminar in few days as per its proposal sent to all CSOs, clubs, women, youth and student organisations to sit together, discuss and take consensus decision together in issues concerning the Meeteis and Manipur, so that Meeteis can raise a single voice and work cohesively with more understanding.
In a release, Taragi Cheishu convener Dr Dhake-shor Potsangbam conveyed that a set of questions has been sent to all organisations to study beforehand and give answers in three days' time by WhatsApp to mobile number-7005800396 or submit it in hard copy to its office.
Any organisation which has not received the appeal letter can get it by contacting the said mobile number by WhatsApp.
The questions are concerned with safeguarding the interests and future of Meeteis and Manipur as a whole, it added.
Taragi Cheishu further mentioned that the closed-door seminar will be held with two representatives from every organisation and will be facilitated by it.
All answers/suggestions to the said questions should be purely based on documental evidence and scientific reasoning.
The ultimate solutions will be discussed and arrived at a consensus in the closed-door meeting.
Thereafter, any organisation can represent and talk on behalf of Meeteis after reaching a consensus and the policy paper will be submitted to the state and central governments to fulfil our ambitions and vision, it also said.
