AR assists cultural programme, conducts lecture

Imphal, January 02 2024: Assam Rifles participated and provided basic administrative support in organising a Cultural Programme for the Anal Naga people of Unopat village in Chandel district on Tuesday.

Similarly, the troopers also extended administrative support for conduct of a three-day seminar and panel discussion from January 3 at Seikhor village in Ukhrul district while a friendly volley ball aimed to motivate local youth m sports was organised at Berukhudam village in Chandel district on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, with the objective to impart awareness and combat drug abuse in Manipur, the AR troopers conducted a lecture on "Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" at Hiangtam Khunou, Songdoi, Singhat and Sajik Tampak villages.

The event organised under the theme 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' witnessed active participation of villagers, including youth, informed PRO IGAR (S) .
