IRCS appeals for donation

Imphal, October 15 2023:
Manipur State branch of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) has appealed to the general population, organisations and philanthropists to donate generously to the society so as to enable it support victims of the ethnic conflict in the state.
In a release, IRCS Manipur media coordinator Premjit Naoroibam stated that it has been extending all possible help in the form of providing essential commodities to people who have been displaced by the violence that broke on May 3 .
In addition, the branch has been providing basic psychological support and organising mental and general health camps for the inmates of relief camps.
The release further informed that many organisations and individuals have extended financial support to the Indian Red Cross Society Manipur state branch including Rs 15,000 donated on Sunday by Nepram Sagei Trust, Sagolband Nepra Menjor Leikai.
While confiding that Rs 3,65,002 donated sum has been received so far and that the branch is continuing its voluntary service for the displaced people, the media coordinator reiterated the appeal to public, organisations and philanthropists to donate to the IRCS, Manipur state branch.
