Imphal, September 14 2014:
A high level meeting held this evening with Chief Minister O Ibobi in the chair decided to re-open all schools and colleges from tomorrow.
The meeting was attended by the Council of Ministers, the Chief Secretary, the DGP and high-ranking civil and police officials.

However, following an agreement between the Government and JCILPS Students' Wing on certain conditions during a meeting yesterday, the high-level meeting decided to re-open all schools and colleges from tomorrow in the interest of the students' academic career.
The issue of ILPS and the prevailing situation were also deliberated during the meeting.
The meeting also took strong exception to the practice of using students as vanguards in most of the protest agitation.
It resolved to appeal to all concerned not to disturb academic atmosphere while pursuing any demand.
The high-level meeting further took serious note of the violent confrontation among NIT Langol students at hostel No 1 on September 12 .
Such incidents can be misinterpreted and might snowball into a serious issue.
All concerned should ensure that such incidents do not recur, Okendro said while appealing to avoid rumour mongering.
Notably, security forces have been stationed in NIT campus following the September 12 incident.
