NSF condemns hijack of LSU Prez car

Naga Students' Federation (NSF) has vehemently condemned hijacking of Lamkang Students' Union (LSU) president's car at gun point by three persons who identified themselves as members of Arambai Tenggol on December 31 around 11 am in a Kakching district area.
In a condemnation note, NSF president Medovi Rhi and general secretary Chumben Khuvung stated that such act of violence and disregard for well-being of the citizens is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Such brazen act not only endangered the victim's life but also instilled fear and anxiety within the society, the NSF denounced and urged the law enforcing agencies to expedite the case and employ all available resources to identify and apprehend the perpetrators swiftly.
It also encouraged community members to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation, adding that the federation remains steadfast in their commitment to fostering a safe environment where everyone can live, work and thrive without fear.
The Federation firmly believes in the importance of maintaining safe and secured environment for all residents and called for increased vigilance and collaborative efforts to combat such heinous acts.
It also extended heartfelt sympathies to the victim and their families, enduring a traumatic experience while assuring that the federation is committed to support them during their difficult times and ensuring that justice is served.
