Noney School holds felicitation / fresher's meet

Noney, August 05 2023: Tazei Public Higher Secondary School on Saturday organised felicitation-cum-fresher's meet programme at its Longmai-2, campus with Noney SDO Namlalung Gangmei and Rongmei Baptist Churches Council general secretary Mansi Gangmei as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

During the programme, two students of the school namely Dinglen Rongmei (class-12 Science) and Thaireimei Golmei (Cl-12 Arts), who were the State Champions of Fit India Quiz Competition organised by Sports Authority of India (SAI) and participated in the National Final Round held recently in Mumbai, were felicitated by the Managing Board of the school.

Mementos/certificates were also presented to meritorious students of the School who scored letter marks in the class 12 examination.

Speaking at chief guest of the programme, Namlalung Gangmei encouraged the students to be attentive and punctual in class, be morally sound and to abide strictly rules and regulations of the institution.

He also advised the students to get involved in extra-curricular activities and to possess high moral values and ethics in society.

As a part of the event, cultural and entertainment programmes were showcased by the students.
