CRPF donates physiotherapy equipment under CAP

109th battalion CRPF of IG Manipur and Nagaland sector provided essential physiotherapy equipment to the 10-Bedded Ayush Wing Yoga & Nature Cure Centre at Mongsangei under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) for the treatment of poor and needy families in the village on Tuesday.
Commandant Bal Krishna Ram attended the programme as the chief guest.
The event was organised with the aim of connecting with the marginalised sections of the society and was attended by several dignitaries, including AYUSH director Akoijam Lokhendra, state AYUSH officer and State AYUSH Society member secretary S Bishwanath, 109 battalion CRPF CMO Phaomei Kirongkhon, MO in-charge of the 10-bedded centre Dr Thounaojam Tennyson, second-in-command of 109 battalion CRPF Anil Kumar, deputy commandant N Gomti Chanu, assistant commandant Alex L Kophom, and battalion personnel, along with staff of Ayush Centre and villagers, informed a statement issued by the commandant.
During the programme, Bal Krishna Ram said that CRPF is always committed to helping the needy by reaching out to them directly.
The distribution of state-of-the-art physiotherapy equipment to the AYUSH Centre aligns with the CRPF's belief in the transformative power of healthcare.
He emphasised on the role of rehabilitation in the lives of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions.
The provision of advanced tools and resources is aimed at elevating the standards of care, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible support on their journey to recovery.
He expressed gratitude to all the staff involved in making the event successful, stating that the civic action programme marked a significant milestone in the CRPF's commitment to community well-being, the statement said.
