According to Clubs' convenor, Lenin Hirom there is strong apprehension of misuse of fund in the renovation of the severely deteriorated Imphal-Yairipok Road.
The department had issued seven work orders totalling Rs 13.37 crore for the renovation in 2017-18 .
Additionally, work orders worth Rs 5 lakh were issued in 2019-20, Rs 12.13 crore in 2020-21, and Rs 3.40 crore in 2022-23 .
