Patients' waiting room opened

Thoubal, April 25 2024:
A patients' waiting room constructed under Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) scheme of Union Ministry of Minority Affairs at Thoubal District Hospital, Khangabok was opened and dedicated to the public by Thoubal deputy commissioner Ahanthem Subhash on Thursday.
Apart from DC Subhash, the event was also attended by Athokpam Indane proprietor Budha Singh and District Hospital medical superintendent Dr W Ruhinikumar as presidium members.
The waiting shed, constructed at a cost of Rs 76.68, lakh with District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Thoubal as the implementing agency, was inaugurated by chief minister N Biren as a part of a programme held at Senapati district headquarters on April 13, 2023 .
Speaking on the occasion, DC Subhash expressed gratitude to five public workers of the district with whose support the project has been completed before its targeted deadline.
He also appealed to the public to use the facility as their own property and lend support to developmental works being taken up by the district administration.
