The celebration began with the unveiling of the Pashel Vuncho monument by PS Bemung, one of the eldest members of the Pashel clan.
The monument was later dedicated and blessed by Panchai Baptist Church pastor reverend Js Shemwar.
In the second session held at the village community hall, president of the Pahrang Pashel Chako family, PS Nungjoy addressed the attendees, emphasising the importance of the day in recounting the history of the Pashel clan and their pivotal role in founding Anal Khullen village.
Nungjoy added that the monument would stand as a reminder of the Pahrang Pashel clan's legacy for future generations.
A special souvenir titled "Pashel Vuncho Alum 2024" was released by Anal Naga Tangpi (ANTA) president PS Monihring to commemorate the occasion.
The day ended with vibrant cultural performances, including traditional songs, stories, and the Akam Dam (Anal Cultural Dance), showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Anal community.
The event was attended by members of the Anallon Chief Association, clan leaders, and executive members of the Shello Chako, further highlighting the strong communal ties within the Anal Naga community.
