Lamlai MLA partners AoL for winter relief to IDPs

Lamlai MLA Kh Ibomcha partnered with Art of Living (AoL) Manipur in providing winter relief materials to resident of two relief camps in Lamlai assembly constituency.
A volunteer team of the MLA in collaboration with the state chapter of AoL distributed blankets, woollen shawls, and hooded sweaters to approximately 250 people, including 100 children, who are taking shelter at the Community Health Centre, Nongada, and Biramangol College, Sawombung on Tuesday.
W Birenkumar, a volunteer, expressed gratitude to Art of Living Manipur for its humanitarian gesture, and said, "When we came to know about Art of Living's Spread the Warmth' campaign, we decided to rope in the NGO to cover the relief camps located in our constituency also.
They readily agreed".
Lt Col Irengbam Jayanta Kumar (John) Singh, leading the Art of Living Manipur volunteer team, highlighted their ongoing Spread the Warmth' campaign, which has already covered 29 relief camps and two temporary shelters in the state.
He emphasised the collective effort to provide assistance to displaced people during these challenging times.
The Art of Living team engaged with relief camp inmates, encouraging them to prioritise wellness, maintain cleanliness, and focus on mental health.
Additionally, they offered to conduct wellness workshops, supporting the community's overall well-being.
Kh Binotama, wife of the local MLA, attended the distribution event along with Telou Chana Seijang ZP member A Jamini and Nongren Chingnungkok GP pradhan M Bilashini.
Binotama also prayed for the inmates' good health, wellness, and peace in the state.
