Expressing concern over the possibility of losing academic year of the students if the ongoing class boycott agitation continues for another one month, Education Minister has informed that the State Government has taken up necessary measures to ensure that the police do not arrest leaders of the agitating student bodies while efforts are being made to initiate talks.

Within the next 2 to 3 days, a way could be find out in this regard.
Reciprocating the gesture of the teacher organisations, the State Government has also taken up necessary measures to ensure that the police do not target the leaders of the agitating student bodies or other related individuals while the talk is being initiated, the Minister informed.
The Education Minister also conveyed that the scheme of providing one laptop each to students of class VI to VIII is all set to be implemented in the State.
