Imphal, June 19 2010:
Some loaded oil-tankers bound for Imphal have been stranded at Jorabat in Assam-Meghalaya border.
The stranded oil-tankers were among the 30 tankers which were loaded with fuel oils at Guwahati yesterday.
It is reported that the oil-tankers halted deliberately at Jorabat with the intention to enter Manipur along NH 39 in defiance of the resolution of the transporters' council not to travel along NH 39.Some other oil-tankers which got loaded together with the stranded tankers have reached Silchar via Meghalaya today.
