UNACCO schools figure in EQ India School ranking

Imphal, October 14 2023: Three UNACCO Schools made it to the top 100 schools of the country in the Education World India School Ranking (EWISR) 2023-24 .

The awards were distributed in an event held at JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi on Saturday.

Prior to leaving for New Delhi to receive the awards, UNACCO School chairman N Irabanta told media persons that the competition is conducted in 14 different parameters namely - teacher welfare & development, competence of faculty, academic reputation, co-curricular education & international, sports education, curriculum & pedagogy (hybrid learning), individual attention to students, leadership/management quality, parental involvement, infrastructure provision, mental & emotional well -being service, special needs education, value for money, and community service.

He said that UNACCO School, Khongman and Meitram ranked 76 and 82 respectively by scoring 981 and 966 points out of 1500 in the all India ranking of Co-ed Day cum Boarding School category.

The two are the only schools from the state to feature in the list.

On the other hand, UNACCCO School, Chanung ranked 37 by scoring 1074 points out of 1500 in Co-ed Boarding School category becoming the best co-educational boarding school in the state.

Featuring in the top 100 list in the first year of establishing the school is a great achievement on the part of UNACCCO, he said.

He thanked the teaching and non-teaching staff, students and their parents as well as other stakeholders for their support and dedication in reaching this level.

This achievement is not only a success for UNACCO but for the whole state, the chairman said, adding that UNACCO School has become a renowned institute offering courses from Pre-Nursery to class 12, at the national level with this achievement.

Mention may be made that Slopeland Public School, Khongjom also featured in the 39th rank in Co-ed Boarding School category by scoring 1061 points out of 1500 .
