NEYDO Kongpal Women Wing reaches out

Imphal, July 27 2023:
The North Eastern Youth Development Organisation (NEYDO), Kongpal, Porompat Kshetri Leikai Women Wing has reached out to the village defence volunteers guarding post at Awang Sekmai with edibles and monetary support today.
A team of the NEYDO women wing visited Sekmai and handed over edible items including rice, potatoes, lentils, onions, potable water and monetary assistance of Rs 10,000 for the volunteers through the Progressive Youth Development Organisation Awang Sekmai Bazar.

Speaking at the occasion, the leader of the women wing of the Kongpal body took note of the continuous attack and arson by Kuki narco terrorists since May 3 and condemned their acts at the strongest terms.
Lauding the village volunteers for the sacrifices they are making at the peripheral areas since the outbreak of the ethnic clash, she said that help was extended as a small token of gratitude to them.
She also continued that NEYDO and its women wing will extend all possible contributions in uprooting the narco terrorists from the State's soil and sacrifice for State's integrity.
The Progressive Youth Development Organisation Awang Sekmai Bazar also thanked the NEYDO women team for the assistance they received for the village defence volunteers.
