Cervical Cancer awareness month observed at MU

Imphal, January 14 2025: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd and Manipur University jointly organized a Cervical Cancer screening and awareness program at the Health Center, Manipur University on January 14.The event focused on raising awareness and promoting early detection among faculty members and Students, said a press release issued by Premjit Lourembam, AGM-Business Development.

Dr Dipenty Lairenjam, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Shija Hospitals addressed 50 participants, including University staff and students.

She delivered a detailed presentation on cervical cancer, covering its causes, risk factors, symptoms, preventative measures and treatment options.
